PURE BALANCE PILATES LTD RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY AND CHANGE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT BELOW AS REQUIRED
MISSED CLASSES AND CATCH UPS
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic it has been necessary to change our class catch up policy.
In order to comply with HSE guidance on the protection of workers and students from Coronavirus (https://www.hse.gov.uk/news/assets/docs/working-safely-guide.pdf ) and to ensure our studio is “Covid Secure” we must change our policy on catch ups sessions and introduce measures from our risk assessment to protect students and teachers.
These measures include;
Reduced class sizes to allow at least 2 metres between heads on mats
Ensuring that within each class, student members remain the same (ie not mixing student groups, in order to limit social interaction).
Increased time between classes to allow staggering of arrival and departure of students, and to allow ample time for wiping down of equipment and contact points between classes.
Closure at weekends to enable a deep clean of the studio and all equipment.
Catch up classes
As a result of social distancing measures we will no longer be offering studio catch up sessions.
Any missed studio sessions can now be caught up using the studio video channel.
Keeping class group members the same week by week will not only help with social distancing measures, it will also enable more individualised teaching in classes and will facilitate a better flow of lessons as student participants will now be the same each class.
The free video membership feature will be advantageous to clients during holiday periods enabling continued practice, during breaks away from the studio
Catch up video sessions will only be authorised to current paying clients who are registered and attending a regular weekly class.
No refunds will be offered for missed classes.
MISSED SESSION CHARGES FOR 1:1 CLIENTS
Private studio clients (1:1 or 1:2 sessions) must give at least 24 hours’ notice of class cancellations in every circumstance. Failure to give the required 24 hours’ notice will result in the session being fully charged to the client.
Class fees are payable in advance every 6 weeks and are non refundable.
For pre-classes cancelled with less than 4 weeks notice 50% of the fees are refundable, less than 2 weeks notice 25% of the fees are refundable and for pre-classes cancelled less than a week prior to commencement no fees will be refunded.
For the safety of all students we will cancel Pilates classes in the event of adverse weather conditions. We will contact those students whose classes are affected via text message at our earliest opportunity. Students will then be invited to request a catch-up class via email.
PERSONAL ITEMS IN THE STUDIO
In order to ensure that we maintain open space within the studio and to avoid cross contact between coats or other bulky items, we request that all personal belongings be left in your car whilst you undertake your class. Lockers are still available to deposit shoes.
MASKS AND FACE COVERINGS
In accordance with Government guidance, it is compulsory to wear a face covering when entering and moving around the studio.
As per W.H.O guidance, face coverings are not advised during classes.
Teachers will remain 2 metres from students at all times and will teach verbally and visually with no tactile corrections given
Socks must be worn in the studio at all times. This is for the safety of our clients, to help maintain cleanliness on the floors and to prevent the spread of any foot infections.
CLEANING OF STUDIO EQUIPMENT AFTER YOUR CLASS
It is a requirement of class attendance that each student must clean any studio equipment they have used using our antiviral spray and a single use cloth
As a Covid Secure studio we require that all clients and teachers maintain a distance of 2 meters whilst in the building.
We have measured the distance between heads on mats and can confirm that this is 2 meters. It is the students responsibility to ensure that this social distance be maintained at all times inside the building.
