MISSED CLASSES AND CATCH UP REQUESTS
For all class cancellations and catch up requests you must email firstname.lastname@example.org giving 48 hours’ notice of a cancellation in every circumstance where you wish to request to make up that class. This is to ensure that classes are planned accurately in accordance with the health and fitness level of students in each class.
All missed classes must be made up within the term that they are missed. In certain circumstances, at the discretion of the Studio Director, catch up classes may be permitted outside of the term in which they are missed. Catch up sessions will only be authorised to current paying clients who are registered and attending a regular weekly class. Catch ups cannot therefore be taken in lieu of paying term fees. No refunds can be offered for missed classes.
Private studio clients (1:1 or 1:2 sessions) must give at least 24 hours’ notice of class cancellations in every circumstance. Failure to give the required 24 hours’ notice will result in the session being fully charged to the client.
As we are busy planning and teaching individualized classes we do not have time to respond to catch up/cancellation requests via call, text, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter etc. Emails only will be checked in office hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm around teaching commitments.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a courtesy service based on availability of spaces - as such no guarantee can be made that students will be able to make up sessions that they have missed.
Class fees are payable in advance every 6 weeks and are non refundable.
For pre-classes cancelled with less than 4 weeks notice 50% of the fees are refundable, less than 2 weeks notice 25% of the fees are refundable and for pre-classes cancelled less than a week prior to commencement no fees will be refunded.
For the safety of all students we will cancel Pilates classes in the event of adverse weather conditions. We will contact those students whose classes are affected via text message at our earliest opportunity. Students will then be invited to request a catch-up class via email.
Socks must be worn in the studio at all times. This is for the safety of our clients, to help maintain cleanliness on the floors and to prevent the spread of any foot infections.
